Just a five-minute walk to Xihu lake, with plenty of shopping malls nearby. The service was top notch, especially at reception, where staff went well beyond what was needed to make us comfortable. The hotel looks dated from outside, but inside, from the lobby to the room, it's very clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

The revolving restaurant on the 20th floor gives a full 360-degree view of the surrounding area. The hotel is also close to the West Lake, branded shops, food shops, and Hubin Pedestrian Street. It smells lovely when you walk in, and the rooms are cleaned every day.

The building felt a little old and dark, but my room was clean, the staff were polite, and I had a pretty good stay. The location is handy, with a convenience store and malls within a five-minute walk, and Didi is easy to get. Breakfast at the revolving floor up top was good too. I'd recommend it and stay again if I'm in Hangzhou.

The hotel is close to in77 Shopping and the subway station, about a five-minute walk. Service was very good, and the front desk staff were eager to help. When we checked out at 6:15am, they had thoughtfully packed breakfast for us. The breakfast spread was excellent, with Western, Japanese, and a wide range of Chinese food. Our lake-view room was well renovated and clean, though a bit smaller than a deluxe unit, and housekeeping was good. There were a few things that could be better. Breakfast ran from 6:30-9:30am, which felt short; extending it to 10:30am would be ideal. One waitress told guests off and ignored requests for a fork and knife, which they kept in a drawer, though the other waiters and waitresses were good. The moveable window could use better soundproofing. Our room also had a strong cigarette smell. We didn't ask to change rooms because we'd arrived on an overnight flight to reach HZ.
