Getting downtown was easy, with a bus every five minutes or so from the station, about 5 minutes away, and the ride took another 5-10 minutes. Daisy also offered us mountain bikes to rent cheaply. The room, food, beers, and bikes all cost surprisingly little for the location. Our twin room was spotless and really nice. There was a good menu for all three meals, and the friendly staff spoke good English and were nice to hang out with. The two cute dogs and talking bird made the atmosphere especially warm, with lots of attention to detail.
2/10
The beds were really uncomfortable, and I was worried the bedclothes weren't clean. The dorm room was left open all the time, so anyone could get in. I had planned to stay three nights, but left the next morning. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hostel.
10/10
The location shown on Google Maps is wrong, but it's an otherwise nice hostel with great food and staff. Prices are reasonable for the area, and catching a bus around Hangzhou is easy.
