Hangzhou OUYAMEI International Hotel

The hotel staff were generally helpful and the service was good, though don't be surprised if you hear them make mean comments in your presence. The first-floor restaurant has bread, noodles, rice, and Western staples like chicken nuggets, fries, and sausages. Omelettes are made when requested. Outside, the view wasn't pleasant for me, just a construction site and a road. I stayed one night. The room was generally clean, with a few wall stains, and the sheets were clean. The TV worked, with free movies. Getting online was confusing: the TV has to be switched on first, then you must join the Wi-Fi named with just your room number, not the other network that includes the room number plus extra letters. The toilet was clean, though the seat and lid in my room were misaligned. A box by the sink had complimentary toothbrushes, toothpaste packets, and other dental items. The shower has a tiled standing area, while water drains through the untiled section outside it.
