The location inside Nansong Yujie is the main reason to stay here, with the night market close by and an easy walk back after exploring. The shower also had hot water quickly and consistently, even late at night. The room itself was below average: tiny, with little beyond the bed, and the bathroom door couldn't fully open. The bed was hard and dirty, and only free TV channels were available. Don't expect the standard of Ibis Europe or Japan, this was much lower. A window room isn't worth choosing either, since the window looks onto a back alley and even the top floor has no open view.

It's a great value for the price, in a fantastic spot near the walking street and westlake. The room had the basics, including a hair dryer, boiler, free bottled water, towels and toothbrush. My one complaint was the lack of soundproofing. Early in the morning I could hear people walking past and talking outside my room.

The hotel feels old but is well maintained, and I liked the first impression. It's clean and comfortable, with a fair price right in the middle of the tourist attractions. I recommend it, though the reception staff's English is limited, like at ordinary hotels in China.

I spent five nights here. The location was great, and the service at this Ibis Hotel was great too.

Sleep was comfortable, and for the reasonable price that was the hotel's strongest point. The rooms are private and spacious, a bit like getting a dorm style budget stay with your own room. They're okay inside, and the view is nothing special, though east-facing rooms looking over the pedestrian street are a little better. The location on Zhongshan Road is very convenient, right in a major shopping and dining area. There's a convenience store across from the hotel for inexpensive snacks or food, and taxis, buses, and the subway are all nearby, around 100 meters away. Getting around the tourist area is easy. Keep in mind it's only accessible by car and there's no breakfast service. It's not a luxurious or full-service Hangzhou hotel, but I'd still say it's a good option because the sleep is comfortable for the price and the location makes up for the limited services.
