We stayed two nights on an airline-booked roundtrip transit through Hangzhou Airport. The hotel kindly offers a shuttle to and from the airport. To arrange a ride from the airport, you need to call the hotel, but they don't understand English. We asked airport staff to call for us, and they were very friendly and readily helped. It would be useful to have a printed copy of your hotel correspondence in Chinese so they can understand the request. A heads-up: the map pin is wrong. The hotel is actually on the opposite corner of the intersection. The rooms feel a bit shabby and smoky, like a provincial hotel from the Soviet era, but they're perfectly adequate for a transit night. European-style power outlets are available, so you don't need an adapter. There are two decent supermarkets across the intersection, and one definitely stays open until 10:30 PM. Yongsheng metro station is about a kilometer away on foot, with a shopping center and some places to eat near it. The place shown by the sign in the photo (not a hotel photo!) serves delicious, authentic food. Two of us ate there for 1,200 rubles, including a beer. If you've got time, downtown is worth a visit. It's 17 metro stops, around 50 minutes, and Russian UnionPay from the Russian Agricultural Bank can be used to pay for tickets.
