Lisa, the front Manager, went out of her way to check that I was safe and arrange transportation. I stayed at the Meridien Binjiang and strongly recommend it for the location and excellent service. It’s a great place in every respect, and I plan to return when I get the chance.

For a hotel Google labels as 3-star, it felt more like a 4-star place. The room was clean, the breakfast had a good variety, and the cleaning crew were really nice. The location was convenient for me, about a 20-minute walk to Line #6 and 8 minutes to Line #4. A few staff members deserve a mention: Ms. Ava Li in the clublounge was always cheerful, Sunny at the breakfast cafe greeted us with a smile, Ms. Gao on night-shift housekeeping got us settled quickly, and Ms. Du on daytime housekeeping was quick to take care of what we needed. I’d suggest the front desk be able to break bills for customers. Also, “coffee-served-in-black” means no sugar or cream, and staff training could be more professional. I’d like to see everyone try to smile more.

Very disappointing. The hotel seems poorly managed and maintained. The upper shower head leaks, and using the normal shower head makes water come out of both heads. The shelf is oxidized.

The shopping mall and river are very close. I woke up and went jogging by the river. I stayed on the 11th floor and had a more convenient room.

There’s a nice range of food and good service in the hotel. Green space, groceries, and plenty of places to eat are all within about a 30-second walk.
