Sofitel Hangzhou Yingguan Hotel

The breakfast buffet was jaw-dropping, with amazing quality and a great selection, and it was included. The room had high-quality materials and quite a few complimentary items. Its switchable privacy glass separates the washroom, and the toilet has all the bidet features.

The gym was a standout: spotless, fresh, and well equipped. I was pleasantly surprised that personal trainers were available, a rare extra for anyone focused on fitness. The lounge was relaxing and felt personal, thanks in part to a particularly kind and welcoming staff member. Food was fantastic, both in quality and variety. Turndown service was prompt, and the staff were friendly, efficient, and professional throughout. On arrival, the doorman gave me a warm welcome. My room was spacious, modern, comfortable, and impeccably clean, with thoughtful details throughout. Sofitel Hangzhou Yingguan is a little far from West Lake and Lingyin Temple. That was a small trade-off for the quiet, well-maintained surroundings and excellent service. I had a genuinely pleasant, restful stay and would gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou.

Zana made our stay especially memorable. She was kind, attentive, and always focused on our comfort, going out of her way to make us feel at home. The rooms were spotless, with lovely views and soft bedding that made it easy to sleep well. We also enjoyed the generous breakfast buffet, and the location made it convenient to explore Hangzhou. From the warm, professional welcome to the elegant, comfortable atmosphere throughout Sofitel Hangzhou Yingguan, everything felt wonderful. We can’t wait to come back.

The blackout curtain did its job perfectly, and I slept really well. I liked the room’s spacious layout, attractive furniture and lighting, and considerate touches. Having a separate locker area was especially handy. There was even a yoga mat, which was a nice addition, though I didn’t have time to use it. The staff were kind.
