The hotel is new, with excellent facilities, and the front desk staff are really welcoming. I like staying here, so I’m surprised its score is so low. It deserves a higher one! For reference, breakfast is on the 3rd floor from 6:30 AM; give them your room number. You can dial another room directly using its room number. WiFi is available through UrCove Hotels with no password, or through RCU with password 88172288. The self-service laundry is on the 5th floor and the gym is on the 1st. Your room card only gives elevator access to your own floor. There’s a supermarket across the street. 11/12🏨 Stayed at ⭐Hangzhou Gongshu Grand Canal Yifei Hotel.

The staff were friendly and quick to help, and the breakfast had plenty of options with some local flavors. I also found it easy to get around Hangzhou from here. It was my first visit to the Jiangnan Grand Canal in Hangzhou, so I picked the nearby UrCove by HYATT Hotel business hotel. The room was roomy, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spacious and clean.

The room was really comfortable during my 3-day, 2-night stay. The king-size bed was big and comfy, and the gentle lighting wasn’t too bright or dim. I liked the full-height windows and automatic curtains. There’s a little machine on the table that plays music and lets you contact the front desk. You can’t choose the songs, but the ones on it are pretty chill. The bathroom has a smart toilet and a separate shower, with a big showerhead and plenty of hot water. Shampooing was pleasant. They also provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, indoor slippers, and a fridge. There’s a smart mirror at the vanity, which is handy for makeup. In the room they also have a coffee machine with capsules, tea bags, canned soda, mineral water, and small cookies. It’s good value and very comfortable, though it’s about an hour’s drive from the city center. There’s a free gym on the lobby floor and free laundry and drying machines on the 5th floor. Breakfast is on the 3rd floor, but costs extra. The TV is a projector, and it needs a membership to watch. I can’t remember whether it was Mango TV or iQiyi. I’m not sure there’s a swimming pool.
