On my Shanghai, Hangzhou, and West Lake trip, UrCove Hotel Hangzhou Gongshu was my favorite place to stay. The price felt like good value, the staff were kind, and breakfast was great. There’s free laundry and drying, plus a gym, and the rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows. You can buy beer in the lobby, and there’s a convenience store across the street that’s open 24 hours. As someone from Taiwan, I thought it was a really good hotel and would recommend it.
