There are some vegetarian choices at the restaurant. The restaurant staff were good, and the manager was very efficient. Breakfast got a bit cramped with the weekend crowd, but the manager handled it well. Victoria Regal Hotel is in a nice location and suited my needs as an Indian. I was satisfied.

It’s a Chinese-operated four-star hotel, conveniently across from a shopping mall with lots of places to eat. Hefang pedestrian shopping street is within walking distance, and Ding An station is nearby.

The staff were lovely and spoke English really well, and the location is great. For the price, the room was quite nice, clean, and bright. I’d highly recommend it.

It’s in a decent spot, right across from a shopping mall. But I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you can’t put up with people smoking in the hotel and the lift.

I usually stay at the Hyatt when I visit Hangzhou because it’s right by West Lake, and the shopping streets are close enough to walk to. The West Lake Intime Mall downstairs has lots of distinctive places to eat, with plenty of other restaurants nearby too. It’s easy to get around and find food, whether you’re traveling alone or with family. The subway station is also walkable. The busy main streets behind the hotel can get a little noisy, though. Hangzhou has plenty of star-rated hotels to choose from.
