I was told by customer service while booking that all meals were included and confirmed, but at the hotel they asked me to pay extra for breakfast. The room was full of flies and mosquitoes. There were many Indian visitors, yet they were vague when I asked about vegetarian breakfast dishes. Staff didn't understand basic English, or acted as if they didn't. I also couldn't find a way to contact Wyndham about complaints, and the member service staff gave me incorrect information.
10/10
The location made it convenient to reach the Qianjiang New City business district as well as West Lake and the Longjing tea plantations. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the buffet had delicious choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
6/10
The room was generally clean, though the pillows were too flat for me. If you book, ask for a room facing Xihu West Lake, since ours looked toward the buildings at Wu Lin Night Market. The hotel is reasonably located: Xihu West Lake is a ten-minute walk from the back door, and Wu Lin Night Market is about five minutes away, though there's not much to it. Starbucks and a few cafes are just around the corner. My stay was okay overall.
10/10
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and spoke great English. The hotel was a short walk from the corner of west lake, with restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was huge and stunning, both the bedroom and bathroom. We paid a relatively low price, maybe because they were renovating the back of the hotel, though there was no noise at all. Highly recommended.
8/10
You get a good balcony view, and the service is excellent. It's right in the middle of wulin night market, which makes the location very strategic. The one inconvenience was that the staff couldn't speak English at all.
