It’s easy to walk to the lake from the back of the hotel, and the staff are friendly and kind. The rooms look recently refurbished and were very clean. There seem to be four or five bicycles available to rent, too. The hotel is in a quiet spot, tucked behind a restaurant rather than facing the main road, so finding it can be a little tricky. If you’re driving on weekends, watch out: Santaishan Rd becomes one-way from north to south. There aren’t any convenience stores nearby, though there’s a small local shop about 400m down Santaishan Rd for beer or refreshments. The rooms are quite small despite having large king-size beds. Some have the shower and toilet in the same room. There’s no elevator, so bringing a large suitcase may be inconvenient.
