Zhejiang Grand

Betty, the manager or supervisor, was polite, helpful, and accommodating, with excellent service and assistance. The hotel is easy to get around from, and the WuXuan fountain is only a three-minute walk away. We stayed at Zhejiang Grand Hotel for two nights. Higher floors have views of West Lake. Check-in and breakfast are on the 25th floor, and there’s also a restaurant/cafe on the fifth floor.

The rooms and service were both good. The location is strategic, convenient, and easy to reach.

A friend recommended this hotel, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It had only opened recently, so the facilities were all new, and the decor had some style. I got upgraded to a room that felt spacious, with a layout I liked and a homey feel. The bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom was large overall, with the shower and toilet in one area and the sink and bathtub outside it. The minibar items were included, too. Good value for the price.

We got a good price through our company, under 200 yuan, and the hotel looked impressive from outside, with rooms on high floors. The facilities do feel dated, though, and the broadband was extremely slow. The phone was broken as well, which made reaching the front desk inconvenient. It’s probably an older hotel.
