It’s okay.

The lake-view rooms are quite nice and not small, with West Lake views right outside the door. The hotel sits on Hubin Road, and the Hubin 28 restaurant on the first floor serves delicious food at around 400 RMB per person. I do have to complain about Hyatt’s IT system. Even though I’m challenging for Platinum status, it still lists me as a regular member in various places.

When I asked the front desk how to get to West Lake, they explained it carefully and even wrote down the bus routes. The staff were friendly, and the hotel’s location made it convenient to reach both scenic spots and commercial areas. The room was nice, with the shower and toilet in a separate area. A fantastic hotel with excellent service.

It’s in a pretty good spot, though the place is starting to look a little dated.
