A beautiful hotel.

The breakfast was delicious and the rest of the hotel was great, though getting to the city center takes a while. I was surprised there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room.

The city feels quite developed, which was different from the vague picture of China I had in mind. The hotel itself has a strong Chinese feel and looks grand as soon as you walk in. I heard it hosts VIPs during major events, and everything about my stay was excellent.

The wonton noodles at breakfast were especially good, and the rest of the breakfast was decent. Rooms are clean, though the shower floor feels a little dated. The hotel sits outside Hangzhou and is split between Buildings A and B. A solid mid-priced base for a business trip.
