Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute was the name adopted in 1970, then it became Harbin Engineering University in 1994. HEU has 20 colleges and 4 teaching departments, divisions, or centers. It also has over 40 scientific research institutions and more than 150 research and teaching laboratories.

The campus is especially beautiful in winter. With all the snow, it feels like being in a fairytale. The teachers are kind and genuine, and I really miss my time at this university. It’s one of the top universities in China, and I had a great experience there before moving overseas.
