Chaohu Hotspring Hotel

We loved staying here. It's out in the countryside, so it makes for a nice getaway. The rooms are nice, and the breakfast buffet is quite good. There's a pool, several restaurants, and a small but really nice fitness center. Dinner and lunch are buffet style on some days, while on others you order from the menu. The kids cafe gets too hot to use in July, though, so ask if they can bring it inside for your child to play. Management speaks English quite well, and if the Wi-Fi is weak, you can ask the front desk for one of their personal routers. There are a few available on request. My concerns were the room setup and some of the food. There's only a shower, no bathtub, and the refrigerator is set so that my baby's milk and my soft drinks stayed lukewarm instead of cold. Ice is available, but you have to order it. The hamburger at dinner tasted great, but it was quite small for the price. My wife ordered fried rice, and it was too salty for normal consumption.
