I slept better here than anywhere else during my stay, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a perfect central location. I had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the positive experience.

For a nine-night stay, the easy self check-in was handy. You get a small envelope with your room passcode. The location is great, very close to Causeway Station, 7-11, Circle K, and malls. Staff were really nice too. Dorothy got me the supplies I needed and answered my questions thoroughly, and the cleaning staff were friendly. Having a microwave and air fryer made it easy to prepare instant meals. My room, 506, had some hygiene problems. There was a moldy smell between the bathroom and the room door. My boyfriend found old underwear and a pair of glasses in the gap between the bed and wall. We didn't take photos because we just wanted to get rid of them. The shower stall also had poor drainage, leaving the floor with a lot of standing water each time I showered. The room is a bit small, probably fine for solo travel, but could feel cramped with a travel buddy.

I chose 9 Boutique Hotel mainly because it's close to my father's place in Happy Valley. I was back in Hong Kong after more than 10 years and stayed for over two weeks. The central location made shopping, dining, and exploring the city's attractions very convenient. The place felt homely and comfortable, and the room cleanliness was satisfactory. I saw staff picking up and delivering professionally washed linens each day. The smart TV was a thoughtful extra for relaxing after sightseeing, and I liked the comfortable mattress, which made for restful nights. The staff were helpful and friendly. On my departure day, a maid walked me to the nearby airport bus stop. Without her help, I might not have realized I could take the bus, so I appreciated the gesture. I felt at home during my stay and would highly recommend this guest house.

The microwave and air fryer were a nice surprise and made it easy to prepare meals. Renting a power bank was a lifesaver. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made my stay more enjoyable. I highly recommend the hotel for its comfort.
