99 Bonham

We loved the location, within easy walking distance of Sheung Wan station or a straight walk to Hong Kong station. Cafes, bars, restaurants, and good local eateries were all about 5-10 minutes away. The bedding was comfy, staff were helpful, and check-in and check-out were easy. The hotel was clean and had what we needed, including a stove top, coffee machine, fridge, toiletries, and even a speaker. We'd definitely stay here again.

They moved me to another room after I complained and offered free breakfast coupons to comfort me, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one. I paid in advance for three days, otherwise I would have checked out as soon as I arrived. I've never slept in a filthier hotel at 200€ a night. The original room floor was sticky, and the shower was so moldy and dirty it seemed to warrant a sanitary inspection. The replacement room was less bad and at least had a bathtub, better than standing on moldy shower tiles beside accumulated dirt. The power sockets were in very awkward positions. There are washing and drying machines on almost every floor, though the areas around them weren't very clean either. The hotel provides useful basics, including a small kitchen area with a fridge, coffee machine, utensils, and an iron, but hygiene was terrible. The location and amenities are convenient. With proper renovations and a thorough clean, it could be a good option.

I stayed nine nights in early December and left completely satisfied. 99 Bonham was clean, friendly, and in a fantastic spot. Supermarkets, restaurants, 7-Eleven stores, and Sheung Wan MTR station were all an easy walk away. I'll definitely come back.

The room was big by HK standards, and the location is superb. It's in Sheung Wan, just one station from Central, where most tourist attractions are, with bus, MTR, and tram stations close by. Highly recommend staying here.
