The staff were kind and helpful, the Wi-Fi worked fine for me, and the room was cleaned daily. The location is excellent too, but the price felt too high for what you get. My room was so small I couldn’t leave my luggage open and move around. The building felt sketchy for the price range I paid. There was construction noise each morning, then music or a celebration from a business in the building every night. The rooms aren’t soundproof, and some guests made unnecessary noise late at night. The bed and pillow were hard and uncomfortable.

The rooms at Compact Travel House are small, but comfortable and very clean, with daily tidying. They supplied most of the things we needed, including shampoo, soap, a kettle, toothbrushes, slippers, and free bottled water every day. The location is convenient, in the middle of Kowloon on busy Nathan Road. The owner and attendants were so friendly. We locked ourselves out in the middle of the night, and they still helped us get back in. We also left some items behind, and they made it easy to retrieve them. I highly recommend the place. Our stay passed without any problems, even though the building and its elevators are narrow and dated. The rooms were clean, but small, which is normal for Hong Kong. The location in Yau Ma Tei is great, with bus stops and MTR stations nearby. Temple Street is right behind the building.

Really clean, and the location is good. Fresh towels and water were provided daily.
