Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui

There are more than four dining options inside the hotel, and we found the food and service there excellent. The staff throughout were warm, efficient, and professional, which made it a pleasure to come back after long days out. The location also made exploring easy, with restaurants, major malls, and street markets all nearby. Hyatt Regency in Tsim Sha Tsui put us close to the things we wanted to see, eat, and buy in Hong Kong.

The lounge was a highlight, and the seafood buffet was a great spread. We got 40% off as in-house guests and paid HK$888+; we’d tried the Grand Hyatt buffet, but preferred the HR one. Breakfasts in the Cafe were fantastic, and Samuel Wong and Emma Lam were gracious and helpful each morning. Thanks to Stephanie, we got a club-level harbor-view room even though the hotel was booked solid and no upgrades were available. Globalist check-in is on the 23rd floor lounge. The hotel is attached to a mall and subway stop, with food and shopping all around. Uber was easy to find at any hour and very cheap. The airport ride was US$35, about 40min. The location is central, the shower pressure strong, wifi fast, housekeeping friendly, and the lounge great. Amenities were adequate, though plastic items like shower caps and razors started being charged for in 2026, which is a Hong Kong thing, not Hyatt. I came back this evening for Chinese food at Hoi Yat Heen on the 3rd floor. The room felt pleasant, with big comfortable tables, and every dish was delicious. The fried rice was my favorite, and the staff were cheerful and attentive. About 4-5 years ago, I used the hotel as a temporary home during the COVID outbreak. The room was roomy and comfortable for sleeping, though limited natural light made it less suited to working long hours. Being right by the MTR and K11 mall made day-to-day life easy, with shops, restaurants, and other conveniences close by.

The Club Lounge team, especially Jason, made a real difference with their warm, professional, attentive, and consistently friendly service. The cleanliness, ambience, and general service around the hotel were commendable too. Our only difficulty was that no extra bed was available, which was challenging while traveling with children. Having that option would make family stays more comfortable. Otherwise, things exceeded our expectations, and we’d be delighted to return.
