JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean, and the corner view was amazing. Every staff member I met was polite and professional, especially the ladies in the Club lounge, who were stars. Breakfast was busy and I had to queue, but the hostess was so sweet and helpful with her city tour suggestions that I forgot about the wait. I followed her advice and it turned out to be a great decision. Viviane at reception and the young lady at concierge also helped a lot, including with my Macao trip. Thank you, thank you. Stay amazing 😍

The employees were the best part. They seemed happy in their jobs, were eager to help, and kept welcoming and greeting us. Being a Marriott Titanium member didn't seem to make any difference, though, which disappointed me after more than 100 nights at Marriott hotels around the world this year. Only during our last three nights were we moved to a suite, where we could finally organize our luggage and feel like real VIPs. I stayed here 10 years ago, and this time it felt like a more run-down version of the same hotel. For what we paid, I would have chosen somewhere else. The first room was extremely tiny for three people, including an infant, with nowhere to put luggage. It feels more suited to an overnight or weekend stay. Breakfast was just OK, but the dinner buffet was amazing, and I'd definitely go back for that. This isn't a very kid-friendly hotel. The only thing for children was a stuffed animal, and there was nowhere for them to go in or near the hotel. Staff had no advice about places to take them, so be ready to travel some distance to find a play area. It's right next to the subway, which makes getting around fairly easy once you figure out how Hong Kong works.

The rooms look their age and feel old, but the location is very good, with a connection to Pacific Place mall. We booked two twin rooms from late November to early December 2025. The bellhop and doormen were impressively quick and efficient. The Executive lounge staff were also especially sincere and kind, and the evening drinks session had really nice food in both quality and quantity. Breakfast at JW Cafe was substantial, with an impressive range of choices.

We spent a month here before relocating, and the team's personal care helped our family slow down, relax, and enjoy being together. The luxury felt thoughtful and genuine, never excessive. Even in the middle of a lively, busy city, JW Marriott Hong Kong has a calm, refined feel that puts you at ease. The space is understated, and the service was consistently attentive. The hotel delivers on that promise exceptionally well.
