Metropark Hotel Mongkok

The Airport Express A21 stops right outside, so getting here from the airport is direct. Our first room, 726, hadn’t been properly cleaned or prepared for the next guests, and the attached picture shows the issue. We showed it at the front desk and were promptly moved to a much more presentable room.

The staff were polite and friendly, and we were happy with the stay apart from a few issues. Wifi was very poor, so using your own data may be better. Some voices from other rooms came through, though the noise was still acceptable. Cleaning was good in most places, but the wardrobe needs attention because dust in the water spray area was easy to see.

We stayed five nights, November 16-21, 2025, at around 5k-6k per night. The reception staff were helpful and kind, the waiting area was good, and the dining area was great. Food and the general environment were decent. There was no bar or pool, and no parking. The room was okay and quiet, though a little dark. The bed was comfortable enough, and the bathroom had hot and cold showers but no bidet. There was a telephone near both the bed and toilet, plus a trash bin and amenities. A hair dryer was provided.

On a business trip, I had one of my worst hotel stays. The kettle was covered in thick dust and had unknown residue inside, and the rusty bathroom ceiling made the place feel badly maintained and outdated. The wardrobe was too short for trousers, long coats, or dresses, which bunched up at the bottom. I could hear every word from next door, so there was no privacy or quiet rest. There was no fax service for guests, and printing a document sent by email came with an extremely high fee. The front desk staff were cold, never smiled, and acted like bureaucrats. Cleanliness, facilities, and service all fell short. I strongly advise business travelers, families, and couples to look elsewhere.
