Mario from housekeeping deserves a special thank you. I left my glasses behind, and he kept them safe for two months and helped arrange to get them back to me. That kind of care really meant a lot. The hotel is also in a very convenient, well-connected spot, and everyone on staff was professional, kind, and ready to help. I had a wonderful stay, would happily return, and will recommend it to others.

Wan Chai’s street views and market stalls gave the area a real Hong Kong feel, with fruit, seafood, and vegetables along Morrison Hill and Bowrington Market. The rooms were decent, and the hotel was convenient and good value for my trip. There are lots of halal food options within walking distance, including wai Kee duck rice, Islamic center canteen, taiba, yousaf Pakistani food, nepali food, and capitol cafe. Times Square is nearby and connects to Causeway Bay MTR station.

The coffee was so good, and there were plenty of dishes to choose from, including lively salads and flavorful desserts. A welcoming place for a family meal.

It was 5 in the morning and I needed a taxi to Hong Kong station to catch a flight. I wasn't a guest, but the concierge kept repeating, "we only help our customer here" and didn't even try to make ordering a taxi easier. When I asked what options I had, she offered no advice. That response has made me doubt I'll ever stay there.

The room itself was fine, but the shower water was freezing and the beds were really hard. Both made the stay unpleasant, and I don't expect to have a cold shower in Winter.
