We stayed at The Fleming Hong Kong for a birthday, and the welcome felt thoughtful right from arrival. Every interaction was warm and personal, and balloons in our quiet, comfortable room made the occasion feel especially memorable. The maritime theme runs from the lobby through the rooms and restaurant, with details inspired by Hong Kong’s harbor history in a modern, refined style. It’s a beautifully designed four-star boutique hotel. Wan Chai is central for public transport, dining, and getting to key parts of the city. Breakfast in the restaurant was a highlight too, with fresh espresso, a wide choice of egg dishes and meats, and the best dragon fruit I’ve ever had. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. A standout stay, especially for a special occasion.

The design details were immaculate, and we were extremely happy with the whole experience. Service was top notch and the location felt perfect, tucked away from the busiest tourist areas but still close to everything. They surprised us with an upgrade to an extra-large, really spacious room. We’d stay here again next time we’re back!

The Fleming had a pleasant look and feel, with quaint furnishings that made the interior chic. It was reasonably priced, close to Chai Wan MTR, and there was plenty of food around. Breakfast was adequate and service acceptable. Good vibes all round.

The bathroom was nice to use, especially the very big shower, and staff were friendly. They cleaned our room each day. The hotel is well placed for walking to both the metro and tram. The room, unfortunately, was fairly small, so with our luggage open we could barely move around.

The room was comfortable, though not spotless, and the staff were friendly and quick to help. The location was convenient. Our only concern was the postcard purchase: my wife felt the front desk gentleman was guessing at the price, and only after she took out two $20 HK bills did he say, “this should cover postage”. We might not have thought much of it except that postcards with postage at Hong Kong Disneyland cost less than $40 HK dollars. Postage rates tend to be stable around the world, so I can’t tell why the employee seemed to be charging extra. The stay itself was okay.
