The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong

The calm, luxurious surroundings were beautifully maintained and felt like a retreat from the city. The buffet breakfast had an incredible range, with very high-quality food, and the staff were outstanding, warm, attentive, and professional throughout. We arrived just as the infinity pool had closed for maintenance, the only downside. Andrew handled the situation exceptionally well. A pleasant stay at The Fullerton Park Hotel, Hong Kong.

The comfortable seats come with a really nice view, and the staff were both helpful and professional. The food and drinks were well prepared, with generous portions. I’ll be back. This is a review for the Lighthouse Lounge on 1/F next to Lighthouse Cafe, since I’m not allowed to create the restaurant on Google Map.

This was our third visit, and the team at Fullerton Hong Kong have really won us over. Roy from the reservation hotline arranged a surprise dessert and a special greeting card for check-in. Thanks as well to Jimmy, Bernadette, Gordon, and Andrew at the counter, plus the two welcoming ladies at Lighthouse Café reception, the FOH staff, and the chefs. We had a corner room in the West Wing with a balcony and sweeping views of the sea and hotel. The weather was wonderful, with morning sun coming straight into the room. It was spacious enough to spend the rest of the day relaxing after lunch, and we also made use of the gym and ordered room service for dinner. We’d suggest arriving early and trying the lunch buffet before check-in. In-house guests sometimes get 50% off. Breakfast had plenty of delicious choices, and the egg station chefs and team were friendly and hospitable. Looking forward to coming back.

The room was lovely, with a great ocean view, and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. Dinner in the lobby was delicious, and the staff there were very attentive. It was a nice beginning to our Hong Kong trip. Then, around midnight, the fire alarm went off on our 8th floor. It was scary, and the staff seemed unsure what to do. Everyone on our floor ran down the stairs to the lobby, where we found out the staff hadn’t even realized the alarm was sounding on our floor. They sent us back to our rooms without explaining what had triggered it. About 20 minutes later, we got a call saying they had checked the floor and found no danger, but even after we asked repeatedly, they still gave no reason for the alarm. The next morning, nobody acted as if anything had happened. For a five star hotel, I expected an explanation and at least some amenity after being woken at midnight and running down eight flights for no reason. Please do better 🙂
