The location is great, and the size is pretty decent by Hong Kong standards, but I didn’t feel it was worth the money. Housekeeping only comes twice a week and doesn’t do a good job. When I raised it at the front desk, they went straight to housekeeping and said it was us. The next day the cleaning lady told us, “If you don’t like the way I clean dishes, do it yourself!” That was really rude and unprofessional. Cleanliness overall was a bit poor, and we had stained sheets and towels a few times. The front desk staff were very, very helpful.

The room was bright and well designed, with a great view over Southorn Playground, where there always seems to be something going on. I did have a bit of a damp issue, but otherwise it was comfortable with no complaints. The location is great, right in the heart of Wan Chai and just a hop from the MTR and tram stops.

Watch out for what felt like unfair practices. I asked about availability and received a price list, then sent a local friend there. Only then did I find out they were under construction or refurbishment, something they’d conveniently left out when responding to a potential short-term tenant. The rooftop was completely closed. When I asked the front desk the same question, all they replied was, “Thank you for your inquiry. Our rooftop is under upgrade work currently.” I stayed at a hotel during this kind of work once before, and it’s definitely something you want to know about.
