The Langham, Hong Kong

Harbour City is convenient to get to, but walking around TST from this hotel is a hassle since it's at the end of a road and you have to cross underground to reach the other side. The walk from the nearest train station was much longer than the two minutes stated on the website, with a long underground stretch. I stayed at Regent before, and Langham doesn't deserve its five-star status by comparison. My room was newly refurbished but still very small, much less spacious than Regent's, with no view at all, just the buildings opposite. I'm a Ruby member, the highest tier, but got no recognition or upgrade. Late checkout was the only benefit, and I didn't need it. I had booked breakfast and high tea, but they were only provided for two people despite my reservation indicating three. The high tea wasn't worth the price, and no one helped with the luggage. Unfortunately, I won't return.

The breakfast buffet was easily the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, with lots of choice and high-quality food. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, and they welcomed us with strawberries and chocolates. Fresh water bottles were replenished each day. Check-in was quick and smooth, our luggage was taken care of promptly, and we were surprised with both an upgrade and a generous 4pm late checkout. It's the first time I've felt truly pampered at a hotel. I'll stay here again when I return to Hong Kong.

The staff were so friendly, helpful, and gracious, and the welcome note with treats was a nice touch. I stayed at The Langham in TST for the first time and had an amazing experience. It's close to everything, with an MTR entrance a short walk away. The room was spacious, with a bar stocked with crystal drink ware. The modern bathroom was large and had both a shower and a tub. Breakfast included Chinese options like porridge and dumpling as well as Western items. Room service from their Michelin Star restaurant was pricy, but very delectable. A five-star stay, and the staff were wonderful.

Jonathan deserves a special thank you. He looked after me throughout my stay, was warm and professional, and paid close attention to the details. He went the extra mile to make things comfortable and seamless, making the service feel personal rather than transactional. I especially enjoyed the Club Floor's comfort and privacy. The lounge was beautifully maintained, calm, and had attentive service and well-curated offerings throughout the day. The experience felt polished and luxurious from the moment I arrived, whether I was starting the day quietly or winding down after a long one. Every interaction reflected the hotel's understated, sincere hospitality. The Club Floor made the visit feel special from start to finish, with comfort, elegance, and impeccable service. The Langham Hong Kong made this a memorable stay, and I'd gladly return.
