The room sizes may feel small to some people, but my single room was perfectly comfortable and spacious enough for me. I chose Woody House in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, for a business trip because I usually look for budget-friendly places. It ended up being one of the best places I've stayed, and I enjoyed it more than some five-star hotels I've experienced. Getting around was convenient, with many places within walking distance. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful at any hour, and their understanding and genuine care made a real difference. Woody House exceeded my expectations. If you're after a clean, welcoming, well-located, budget-friendly place to stay in Hong Kong, I highly recommend it.

This place is affordable, so I’m judging it for the price, not against a five-star hotel. The room was small, sure, but bigger than I expected. The aircon worked, it was quiet at night, the location was great, and the staff were friendly. Exceeded my expectations xx

The location was good and the desk staff were nice, which is why I gave it two stars. But room 1601 was awful. It was tiny, with barely any room for luggage, and dirty everywhere, including the towels and all the hair on them. I couldn't bring myself to shower for four days. A constant system noise made sleeping hard, and the bed was so short I couldn't fit my feet comfortably. There was also smelly water coming through the bathroom wall and ceiling. The AC wouldn't provide heat even though the screen said it was on heat, and nobody warned me. I'm sick now. Never take this room.

I keep coming back here over the years and have no complaints. It's clean, the staff are welcoming, and the TV and Wi-Fi are great. The rooms are small, but the price is very reasonable. I'd pay extra for a double bed again, it's worth it. Thanks, woody house.

The room is on the small side, so it seems best for solo travelers who want privacy. I got a very good deal, though, and the location is great, close to wan chai, lots of restaurants, and on a quiet side street.
