Hilton Garden Inn Huangshan Scenic Area South Gate

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, both savory and sweet. The lobby also has famous Huangshan tea to try, with tea tasting available. The location is handy for the cable car departure point to the Yellow Mountains, and the comfortable rooms are modern and clean. Nice hotel for the price.

The staff were fantastic, and my room was very clean. I enjoyed my visit to Huangshan and especially want to thank Liu Guoyang for all the help and for making our stay memorable.

The new hotel is in a convenient location, but customer service needs work. I paid for what I was told would be a small group Huangshan tour of up to 16 people at the tourist counter, but they put me in a group of more than 40 instead. I didn't find the counter honest.

The room was brand new and clean, and the hotel is in a great spot at the foothill of Huangshan. Construction around the property continued late into the night, though. Also, the hotel staff were quite pushy about getting guests to eat at their restaurant, which felt unusual for a place at this level.
