The location is spot on, just steps from the railway station, where the shuttle to the mountain also leaves. Inside, it's a laid-back space with a pool table, and you can bring your own ready meals to prepare. There's also a self-service breakfast for very little. Chan is a huge help with routes on the mountain, camping, buses, and whatever else you need to ask. The place has a real European hostel vibe. One of my favorite hostels in China so far. Thanks, guys!

Chan, the host, was wonderful and spoke good English. He helped with travel logistics in China and translating Chinese characters. The Wi-Fi worked well. The bunks were cozy and private, with curtains, lockers, and plugs, although the mattress was a bit hard. You can get snacks, drinks, and beer downstairs, and there's laundry on site. The bus terminal is only about 200 meters away, and it's a two-minute bus ride to the Old Street pedestrian center for 1 RMB.

There are quite a few foreigners here, and the internet is fast. It's a comfortable place to stay in Huangshan, with a really distinctive feel.
