The reception and host were especially helpful with recommendations, transport, and getting around, all in excellent English. We really enjoyed staying here for several days. It's cozy, well located, and the rooms are clean. One heads-up: the location may be about 300 meters off on Google Maps, so check Amap for a better position. Breakfast was nice and costs extra, which makes sense given how cheap the rooms are. Nothing to improve, and it's highly recommended for international travellers too.

We felt very welcome and well looked after during our seven nights here. The host and employees were always ready to help, and he went through the Huangshan mountain hiking routes based on fitness and preferences. The scenic area bus station is walkable, and there are plenty of good traditional restaurants just two minutes away. Ask about the dumpling place upstairs behind the bridge. We also highly recommend visiting Xidi, the most beautiful ancient village in the area. Thanks for having us, we'd happily return anytime.

Really nice hotel, with superb service from the owner and staff. They gave us useful information about getting to the mountain. There's a Halal Lanzhou restaurant within walking distance, and the food was delicious.

The staff were helpful, and the decor has a boutique feel. The beds and pillows could be better, and Google Maps shows the wrong location.
