Cheermay Hotels (Huizhou West Lake)

The staff were very helpful, and housekeeping did a thorough job. The lobby has plenty of room, with a dining area and sofas, plus water dispensers and printing services. Compared with the nearby Huiyi Hotel in the same category, I found this one better. I booked both a twin and a double room. They were spacious and had good water pressure. The twin rooms are on the second floor, where there's also a laundry room, but guest rooms are upstairs too, so it can get noisy. The eighth floor was quieter, with non-smoking rooms and better air quality, though it gets quite hot up there since it's the top floor. There were some maintenance problems: the bathroom door leaked even when shut, there was mold on the clothesline and hangers, and the curtains were damaged. I hope they keep up with repairs. I'd probably stay here again.
