The buffet breakfast costs extra, RMB38 per person, but there's a good spread, including Chinese herbal soup, which was a surprise. I stayed just one night and loved how comfortable the pillow was. I'd like to know if they sell them. The hotel is across from West Lake and about a five-minute walk from the shopping street. The exterior may look old, but the room was spacious and nice. I'll definitely come back.

The location made exploring easy, with West Lake right nearby for walks and Huizhou Commercial Pedestrian Street and Liri Shopping Plaza close for shopping, food, and local atmosphere. We loved the lake views from our comfortable room, especially when waking up, and the room was clean and comfortable for our four-night stay. Free guest laundry was handy. We did miss having a fridge in the room for drinks or snacks. The lake setting, convenient location, and comfortable room made it good value. If using Didi or another transport app, the hotel is also known as Xihuli Hotel.
