Peter Li was especially helpful and proactive, and Justin Li was helpful too. The rest of the staff were courteous and efficient. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't meet anyone from top management, which is quite different from my experience at other Shangri-la hotels. This was the sixth Shangrila hotel I'd stayed at this year. Prices also seemed high for low season, and I wondered what tour groups are charged.

The location is excellent, and the finishes and details feel up to international five-star standards. Probably the best five-star hotel in Manzhouli. Service was good compared with local hotels, though it didn't match the standard at other Shangri-la properties.
