The setting by a peaceful lake at the foot of Da Yan Mountain makes Four Points by Sheraton Heshan a welcome break from the usual city routine. Its rooms are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with large LCDs, high-speed WiFi, and signature Four Points beds for a good night's sleep. Getting to downtown Heshan takes only minutes, and Jiangmen is a short drive away, so it works well for travel around the region. The hotel also has Cantonese and international dining, suitable for a casual meal or a client dinner. For events, the modern venues and professional service make the arrangements easy. Handy for meetings or a chance to recharge.

The price is relatively low for what's offered, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast doesn't have many choices, but there's enough to fill you up. The room was spacious and newly decorated, with a good view and peaceful surroundings. The hotel is in Heshan town, near Guangzhou and Zhongshan, right by a country park known locally for hiking.

The location and hotel are nice, but the staff just don't meet the Sheraton standard. They don't speak English, the room-service apps don't work, and restaurant staff avoid you. I've been coming here for years, and it just keeps going downhill.

The staff were so nice and upgraded us to a suite because my kids had been sick. We didn't have time to enjoy the facilities, but I'd love to come back.
