The hotel feels quite cut off at the moment. It’s in a newly reclaimed area, so there aren’t many things to do nearby unless you’re up for an hour-long commute. The hot spring pools in the garden behind the hotel were perfectly fine. But after a soak, getting back to the room and finding the shower water barely trickling out really spoiled the mood. The corridors aren’t soundproof either, so you can hear kids running and talking outside your door. And the room doors don’t have self-closing hinges, which seems like a basic feature for accessibility and theft prevention.

March 2025. This is still a new development, so it’s not very convenient as a base. It works better as a resort for relaxing. Shops and restaurants are about a six-minute drive away. The hotel is very new and has more than 10 outdoor hot spring pools in different sizes, all heated above 45°C. There’s also an outdoor pool on the sixth floor, with a nice lounge area by the water. It’s a great spot to meet friends and watch the sunset over the fish pond, which is a real highlight. The pond out front looks lovely at dusk too. There’s a convenience store in the hotel with enough stock. The surrounding area is still being built, though, and there aren’t many places to walk around, just a lawn and a small park.
