The free breakfast and dinner buffet were nice, and the indoor pool was quite good, with nobody else swimming while we were there. But the hotel is very bling bling, all gold themed, and the grand lobby feels outdated. I'm pretty sure we didn't request a smoking room, yet we got one. The corridor smelled of smoke, and so did the room. It wasn't too bad overall, but I wouldn't stay there again.

The rooms were big and clean, and the front desk staff gave us very helpful guidance. Gladden Hotel in Jiangmen (Mingguan Jinkaiyue Hotel） is close to all kinds of amenities in Pengjiang District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province. It's on Fazhan Blvd “Development Road” (Fazhan Avenue）. Several spots are less than 0.5 km away: Jiangmen Wuyi Museum of Overseas Chinese, Jiangmen Art Museum, Bagua Mountain Park, and Wuyi overseas Chinese Plaza. Jiangmen Science and Technology Museum, Jiangmen Upside-Down Museum, and Jiangmenshilian Museum are all within 1 km. Hotel services were good. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, spa, fitness room, restaurant, and cafe. Public parking is free and has car charging facilities. An airport pick-up shuttle is available, though the airport is 50 km away, and Wi-Fi is free.

Joyful City Plaza and Wanda Plaza Shopping Center are close by, and there are several really good restaurants around. A nice place to stay.
