It was nice to have friendly staff, and even the least expensive room came with a river view. The rooms have a tucked-away, hidden retreat sort of feel. I could happily spend the morning relaxing in the downstairs cafe instead of heading back to Japan. Cleaning could be a bit better. There was a singer performing until 11:30 PM. It wasn't loud club music or anything, so it didn't bother me much, though it could be an issue for some people.
