The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is kept in good shape. We stayed way up on floors in the 50s to 70s, almost among the clouds. On a clear day the city comes into view, and at night it's breathtaking. The staff were friendly and helpful too, which fits the Kempinski name.

The east side of Jinan looks great from here, though you can't see the city center. The price seemed reasonable for a five star hotel. That's about it. We were let down by both restaurants we tried, on the third and 53rd floors, and we even gave them a second try. For what they charge, the food quality just isn't there. There are plenty of better places to eat around the city, so explore a bit. Also, the quilt fabric was uncomfortable and made noise whenever I turned over at night. Hope you have a good time in the city.

From the airport, it takes about 40 minutes to get here. The room was spotless, and the view from the 60-plus floors was lovely. It's the nicest hotel in Jinan! First-time guests can get a complimentary souvenir.
