The rooms are clean and simple, and there's a small gym and a Luckin Coffee inside. It's in a lively neighborhood, with alleyways nearby about a 10-minute walk away. I'd stay here again if I got the chance.

The Spring Water Banquet at Liangyou Fulim Hotel presents Jinan's spring water culture through creative takes on traditional Shandong food. It's described as Jinan's first hotel restaurant themed around that culture, and the signature meal is called the "Spring Water Banquet." The water for the banquet comes from natural Black Tiger Spring, which gives it a sweet, fresh taste. Its ingredients, including lotus flowers, seeds, roots, and cattail shoots, are also nurtured by Jinan's spring water. A central story is the encounter between Emperor Qianlong and Xia Yuhe at Daming Lake. The food is arranged and carved to resemble local springs, mountains, and sights, making little lifelike landscapes from familiar Jinan images. The dishes look so lovely you almost don't want to eat them. They include Spring Dawn at Mingquan, Lotus Pond Moonlight, Milk Soup with Cattail Shoots and Sea Cucumber, Tea-Scented Abalone Soup, Lotus-Flavored Roasted Duck, Reclining Ox Viewing the Scenery, Hibiscus Lake Shrimp, Lotus Flower Pastry, Double Fish Playing with Lotus, Qin Family Spicy and Sour Cattail Shoot Balls, Crispy Cattail Shrimp, Foshan Chrysanthemum Appreciation, Huang Family Roasted Meat, Fried Cicada, and Spring Water Scallion Noodles. The noodles use twelve seasonings for the twelve months and four kinds of scallions for the four seasons. You can get countless flavor combinations depending on what you like, and the meal highlights Jinan's distinctive local food culture.
