Yuster E-sports Hotel (Furong Street Kuanhouli Branch)

I picked this hotel for sightseeing, and the location is its big advantage. It’s on the 9th and 10th floors of the Hui'er Commercial Building on Quancheng Road, sharing two elevators with Lavande Hotel. Baotu Spring and Quancheng Square are right nearby, while Daming Lake, Black Tiger Spring, and Furong Street are also within easy reach. There are plenty of places to eat and shop around here, a Walmart across the street, and a bus stop opposite with route 3 going straight to the railway station. The free Wi-Fi was fast. The two complimentary bottles of water were Ice Dew, though I preferred the drinking water downstairs. I heard it comes from an underground spring, and lots of local older people were filling containers with it. My room was about 15 square meters, just as the website showed, and not very big. I specifically booked a double room with a window, which faced Quancheng Road and only opened a little for ventilation. The bathroom lighting was dim, and there was a raised step. A shower curtain separated the shower area, but the showerhead was tiny. After flushing, the toilet took several minutes before it could flush again. At first I thought it was broken. The corridors twist around like a maze, so I had to remember the route to find my room. The first night, I lifted the duvet and found a strand of hair on the bed, so I suspected the sheets hadn’t been changed. The same thing happened the second night. They replaced the drinking cups with clean ones but left the used cups behind. Service was okay, and staff would help sort out problems. The housekeeping lady also helped me find my room. Still, the front desk staff didn’t greet guests, while the team at the neighboring Lavande Hotel kept greeting us. Both front desks are actually in the same room, divided by a wall. The room card I got at first opened the room but wouldn’t operate the elevator. After coming back exhausted from climbing Mount Tai the next evening, I found I couldn’t open my door and had to go downstairs to get help. Maybe it wasn’t the front desk’s fault, the card may somehow have lost its data.
