Crowne Plaza Jingmen by IHG

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable to sleep in, and the hotel itself feels new with modern facilities. Sugar Zhang in Guest Relations gave me warm, attentive one-on-one butler service, and Lounge Manager Zoey Chen made personalized cocktails and showed wonderful hospitality. I appreciated the bilingual destination guide, though its English translation could use work. The twin room was roomy, but there was no bathtub, which felt odd for Jingmen’s first five-star hotel. There are no executive twin rooms either, so business travelers have fewer choices. Breakfast was enough, even if the selection was limited, perhaps because occupancy was low. The freshly squeezed juice, WMF tableware, and special drinks for IHG elite members were nice touches. Service and food in the Executive Lounge were both very good, but putting it on the third floor means missing out on scenic views. It’s good value and seems especially suited to leisure stays. More business room options and a better lounge location could improve things further. I hope the hotel keeps getting better.
