Banxia Inn (Hengdian Mingqing West Road)

My room looked out over the Ming and Qing Palaces, and the front desk staff were always smiling, friendly, and polite. The only drawback was hearing a little traffic from the street. The location is handy, with the street right downstairs and a bus stop for Hengdian World Studios. A 2-yuan loop bus goes to different attractions inside the studios. You can get noodle soup, wontons, or fried noodles downstairs for breakfast, and several nearby restaurants serve Tujia dishes in the evening, including lemon pickled fish, spicy blood curd, and chopped chili fish head. The food is quite good. I've been here for two days and check out the day after tomorrow. It's excellent value for money and I'd recommend it.
