The smoke issue made my one-night stay really disappointing. I had booked a non-smoking room, but was assigned a smoking room that reeked, from the towels and pillows to the air. I told the staff, and they apologized but said they couldn't do anything, other than promise a non-smoking room next time. For a Marriott that calls itself “luxurious,” I was surprised they made so little effort to fix it. The service wasn't what I expected.

The rooms are huge, and getting around was easy. There are two coffee shops, Luckin and Cotti, nearby, plus a mini mart and a KFC just behind the hotel. The lobby is on Level 27, reached by lift, and rooms are served by a separate lift on the right. Facilities include a pool, gym, sauna, and steam room, though the steam room was out of order. Breakfast beside the lobby had a decent selection. A very nice place, recommended.

I stayed two nights, from 4-6 Aug, and most of it was good apart from the room and corridor. The room smelled strongly of smoke, even though I was told this was a non-smoking hotel. They moved me to another room, but Marriott should have checked the room's quality. The whole corridor smelled of smoke too.

Great city views, tasty food, and close to everything.
