The International Trade City, Yiwu - Marriott Executive Apartments

The staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The Chinese restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and great food, though City Bistro seemed a little overpriced compared with nearby places. A few more English-speaking staff would also make things smoother. I stayed in the Marriott Executive Apartments, next to District 1 of the International Trade City. There’s a mall close by for a stroll or dinner, and the night market is about a six-minute drive away and worth a visit. The apartment hotel was clean, modern, and well-maintained. Breakfast had fewer choices than the main hotel, but still offered a good variety, including plenty of vegetarian options. It had what I’d expect from a solid four-star hotel, and I’d stay again.

It’s a comfortable, convenient choice for work or leisure. The rooms have great views, and the breakfast buffet was decent and satisfying. JW Marriott Yiwu has the top-class facilities and service you’d expect from a luxury hotel, with a particularly handy location near the Yiwu International Expo Center and major wholesale markets for business travelers.

The lounge had a nice range of drinks and options, and the food was generally good. I was also happy to receive a lovely bottle of wine from the hotel. I stayed two nights and had a very pleasant time. The place feels a bit old, but it was really clean and nice. I was given a large corner room the first night, then upgraded to a beautiful suite the next.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The room airflow was poor, and cigarette smoke from the next room came through the vent. The air conditioning was fixed at 22.5°C with no way to change it, so it felt hot all night. I booked two rooms for my father and me; he found the mattress extremely uncomfortable, and neither of us slept much.
