I finally moved elsewhere after staying at yihe mainly for its closeness to the market and night shopping. The convenience came with too much of a trade-off in basic amenities. The place badly needs refurbishing. Air conditioning is a real concern in both summer and winter, and the staff don’t understand English, which can make things difficult. The breakfast has stayed the same for years, and their exchange rates are far worse than bank rates. I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

I’ve stayed here a few times and found the rooms good and the staff helpful. There’s a great range of food, from the buffet breakfast to the different restaurants for dinner, including fresh seafood and Western-style options.

It’s an old but nice hotel, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from Bosphorus Turkish Restraunt and Night Market.

The hotel is old, and the rooms are small. It’s not very good.

It’s an old hotel, but the shopping area is nearby.
