The room was unbearably hot when I arrived on October 29th, and the hotel wouldn’t switch on the air conditioning. I couldn’t sleep. Room service suggested opening the window, but it faced a busy street with constant traffic, and mosquitoes came in, making things worse. Staff only spoke Chinese, so I couldn’t communicate or get proper help. They brought a noisy electric fan as their only solution, and it didn’t fix the problem. Very disappointing.

The room and bathroom were spacious, and the beds were clean and comfortable. There’s a gym with several good treadmills and other exercise equipment. Staff were attentive and friendly. As in most hotels in China, a little Chinese can be very useful.

The hotel is clean and good, and the crew are very kind. It has a BENZ van shuttle for FUTIEN MARKET.

The river view is amazing, though there aren’t any commercial facilities. Iwoo doesn’t seem to have non-smoking rooms, and the children’s rooms don’t smell of cigarettes.
