The room stayed cool and fresh without needing the air conditioning, which was a first for me in this kind of place. The owner even gave me a better room than the one I booked. The hotel itself is quiet and cozy, and the cats wandering around the yard are a treat. They'd tap on the wooden door when they wanted water or someone to play with, then stroll inside and find a good spot to curl up and sleep. Definitely a lovely stay for cat lovers.
The quiet courtyard is a lovely place to sit and take in the centuries-old walls, whether it's day or night. This is a small, romantic hotel, and the host family are very friendly.
The place has a quaint feel, though breakfast wasn't very good. Luckily, there are plenty of street vendors by the castle entrance.
