Dunhuang Tianyuan Youth Hostel

I liked the quiet surroundings and the views from the tops of the buildings. It's a nice rural-feeling area on the outskirts, close to the national park, with lots of horses around. But nearly everything else was either missing or different from the listing: no toiletries, towels, hot water, or drinking water. I only found out after arriving that the included breakfast meant walking a few blocks to another hostel. After one sleepless night and a disappointing breakfast, I cancelled and got my money back. If I wanted a hard surface and no amenities, I could camp outside on the ground.
